What is the difference between your program and health insurance?
Our program IS NOT a free discount card nor is it like any discount card that is provided for free or from pharmacies and branded by those pharmacies. While our card is not insurance it works the exact same way as an insurance card would. You provide your card and they enter the information that is on your card which is your name, member ID#, Group ID, Bin#, and PCN into their computer just as they would do with an insurance card. The system then finds you in the system and automatically applies all incentives and rebates available to your drug order instantly. Then the system then returns the special discounted price back to the pharmacy and that is the price you pay for the medications.
What is the difference from a free discount drug card and our drug card?
Free drug cards are not people or family specific and can be used by anyone without mandatory enrollment. Free cards are similar to coupons and do not guarantee any specific discount pricing and usually provide very small, if any, real discounts.
Our card is not insurance but almost works similar to an insurance card because it requires enrollment and activation by the member who is then activated in the national pharmacy computer network showing that the member is enrolled and is qualified and eligible to receive the special drug pricing. The price the member should pay shows up in the pharmacy computer at time of purchase and to the pharmacist it acts the same way that any other insurance card would act.
How fast is my program activated?
Your membership registration is usually activated in the nationwide system within 30 minutes.
How do I manage my account / my company’s account, once I enroll?
Accounts are managed by accessing a secure member or company portal accessible via the internet or company intranet or by calling the toll free customer support number.
Can an individual cancel the program at any time?
Yes, there are no contracts or long-term commitments, however the member is removed from the national computer network and all savings become unavailable once the membership is canceled.
